The Fabian Society Ōtautahi and the Canterbury WEA invite you to a meeting with Associate Professor Dr Sarb Johal to hear his presentation on 

Key elements for an effective mental health system in Aotearoa

Sarb Johal is a psychologist with 25 years experience in academic research, policy, and front-line clinical work, and is currently an associate professor in Disaster Mental Health at Massey University, Wellington.

Sarb will give a 45-minute presentation on the structural changes needed to create a really effective mental health system. Then there will be small group discussions to formulate key questions to ask Sarb, and time for him to respond to them.

A great opportunity to learn more about mental health and to contribute to better policy-making.
