The first Wellbeing budget has been described by the Government as being about new ways of working and of thinking about how we measure our success as a country and as a Government. It was about identifying the actions that make the greatest contribution to improving the intergenerational wellbeing of New Zealanders, while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
