Earlier this year the Gareth Morgan led an expedition through the subantarctic islands to Antarctica to raise awareness of the area. In the first two weeks of July the Morgan Foundation will be releasing four books and a movie about the trip. At the same time we will be holding a series of evening and lunchtime talks in central Wellington to give people a flavour of the issues debated on the boat (e.g. climate change and marine protection in Antarctica). The talks will be led by the experts that came on the voyage, including scientists from NIWA, VUW and experts from DOC and MFAT.
